This Carving would make a lovely presentation piece or as an alternative to the traditional 21st Key.
Meaning: Known as the Vikings of the East our ancestor, the Maori, was said to have meandered the Pacific in his fully carved War Canoe or Waka-Taua, using the moon, sun, stars and migration of birds as his only means of navigation. These massive canoes held anything between 80 to 120 warriors. The Great Migration, of which only 8 canoes arrived safely in New Zealand, took place in 1350 A.D.
