This carving is made from Mahogany wood and depicts a traditional Mãori door lintel. These carvings are mounted above a doorway to ward off evil spirits. The lintel (pare) above the doorway is considered one of the most important carvings.
It measures 66cm Long by 22.5cm High by 3cm Thick.
