This Carved 21st Patu is Made in New Zealand from sustainably harvested Tulipwood and makes a great alternative to the traditional 21st Birthday Key.
It has Inset Paua Inlay Eyes and “21” on the Front and it is plain on the Back.
It measures approx 42cm Long by 13cm Wide (at Widest points), entire Length (including Cord) is 62cm.

As a general rule the rangatira (chief) carries the mere, or short club. The mere was carried thrust into the girdle of the piupiu or in a special war belt. The common characteristic of the mere is a flat, broad blade with a rounded end made sharp enough to split the skull of a man or cause deadly injury to the neck or ribs.

The Base measures approx 40cm Wide by 9cm Long by 3cm High (not including holders). Highest point of left-hand side Holder is 9.5cm
The Holders are Wooden as well and click into place, sent flat for safe travel.
