NZ Carved Pine & Greenstone Axe on Stand (Small)

This beautifully hand-carved New Zealand Pine and Greenstone Axe would make an impressive Presentation Piece, Corporate Gift, Trophy as well as an alternative to the Traditional 21st Key.

The Pine & Greenstone Axe Measures 26cm Long (Including Greenstone Axe Head) by 2.5cm Wide (at widest).

The Greenstone Axe Head itself Measures approx 9cm High.

The Stand is made from New Zealand Pine Wood and measures 29cm Long by 3.5cm Wide.

The Axe (Toki Kaka Poto) was a valuable Maori tool, used to fell trees, clear vegetation, prepare tree trunks for carving into waka (canoes), and general carving.
